• Clarity. Clarity assesses whether the diamond has internal flaws or external blemishes. The clarity scale ranges from flawless (no inclusions visible under 10x magnification) to included (inclusions visible to the naked eye). Diamonds with higher clarity grades are rarer and more valuable.
• Colour. The colour grade of a diamond evaluates how colourless or tinted it appears. The scale ranges from D (colourless) to Z (noticeable tint). The less colour a diamond has, the more valuable it’s considered.
• Carat weight. Carat is a unit of weight for diamonds. One carat is equivalent to 200 milligrams. Larger diamonds are generally more valuable.
