November’s birthstone is Citrine symbolizing success and abundance in life. Citrine is said to light up the lives of those who wear it. When placed on the forehead of an Elder is said to increase psychic powers.

Citrine is also said to have healing properties and will bring joy and love to the owner. Citrine is derived from French and Latin words meaning citrus or orange.

Citrine is available in a variety of shades from pastel yellow to brownish orange.

Care
Citrines are fairly tough, making them perfect for everyday wear and durable enough for all jewellery styles. You should not submit your jewellery to hard blows or rough wear (construction, harsh chemicals, etc). 

Cleaning
Warm, soapy water is the best method for cleaning citrine. The use of ultrasonic and steam cleaners is not recommended.
